COUNTRY COMPANION ULTRA 20/20 CALF MILK REPLACER is a medicated all milk formula with balanced 20% protein and 20% fat:

Hand feed at a rate of 1 mg of lasalocid per 2.2 pounds body weight per day. Thoroughly mix this milk replacer powder with warm water and feed immediately. When preparing large batches (i.e. anything other than individual calf servings) keep the mixture agitated while dispensing into individual feeding containers to prevent settling. Each pound of this milk replacer powder contains 36 mg of lasalocid; one and one-quarter (1.25) pounds of this milk replacer powder will medicate 99 pounds of body weight per day.

MIXING

Into 2 quarts of warm (110°F) clean water, add 10 ounces (1 cup)* of milk replacer powder and mix thoroughly with a whisk or power mixer. For larger batches, mix 1.25 pounds of milk replacer powder per gallon of warm water.

FEEDING

Feed the reconstituted milk replacer at a rate of 2 quarts per 100 pounds of body weight twice daily (4 quarts per 100 pounds of body weight per day). Large breed calves generally require 2 to 2-1/2 quarts per feeding twice daily, while smaller breed calves may need 1-1/2 to 2 quarts twice daily.

* The measuring cup provided in the bag holds approximately 10 ounces of milk replacer powder. For greater accuracy, a suitable scale is recommended.

This product contains 6.8 mg of diflubenzuron per lb. Feed ClariFly to prevent the emergence of adult house flies, stable flies, horn flies, and face flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult flies will not be affected. Start feeding early in the spring, 30 days before flies begin to appear, and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity.

In some cases, supplemental fly control measures may be needed in and around barns and calf hutches to control adult house and stable flies, which can breed in other decaying organic matter or silage in the area, or that migrate in from other locations.

IMPORTANT

When preparing large batches (anything other than individual calf servings) keep the mixture agitated while dispensing into individual feeding containers to prevent any settling which could result in the feeding of improper levels of lasalocid and diflubenzuron.
